OP.16

Op.16, a project inspired by Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Six Moments Musicaux, Op. 16. This project, led by the talented artist and multi-instrumentalist Solène Charpentier, beautifully merges classical music’s melancholic harmonies with the dynamic elements of electronic music and the sonic richness of music from Asia Minor.

Inspiration came from the atmospheric and evocative nature of Rachmaninoff’s music, as well as the innovative fusion of genres in Solène Charpentier’s work. The attached image exemplifies this blend, using light and shadow to convey the haunting and dramatic qualities of the music. This visual representation aims to echo the project’s goal of creating an immersive and emotionally resonant experience.
